    • Position Summary
    • Multiple temporary hourly-intermittent student assistant position available in Teacher Diversity.

    • Start Date
    • Position available on or after October 21, 2024 and ending on or before May 30, 2025. Possibility of reappointment based on budget, department needs, and job performance.

    • Job Description/Duties
    • Duties include but are not limited to: 
      • Collaborating with Teacher Outreach Ambassadors.
      • Assist with editing and creating videos and graphics for recruitment purposes.
      • Assist with creating fliers and promotional materials.
      • Assist with social media and technology.
      • Assist in maintaining department email.
      • Assist with answering incoming phone calls.
      • Assist staff and faculty, as needed, with ongoing services including designing bulletin boards, creating outreach materials, revising program materials, organizing equipment, and/or assist students with day to day questions.
      • Drive within the Stanislaus State six-county service area to conduct Teacher Recruitment presentations to local K-12 school sites and Community Colleges.
      • Table during Warrior Wednesday and Stanislaus State events.
      • Table during local Community Colleges and K-12 college and career events.

      Other duties as assigned.

    • Preferred Qualifications: 
      • Demonstrates public speaking skills and experience.
      • Demonstrates excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to engage with diverse student populations.
      • Demonstrates attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks with appropriate follow through.
      • Demonstrates the ability to utilize office softwares (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe, Canva, Outlook, Zoom, TEAMS).
      • Demonstrates friendly and courteous customer service skills.
      • Demonstrates the ability to follow instructions.
      • Demonstrates the willingness and flexibility to learn new things.
      • Demonstrates professionalism and excellent work ethic.
      • Demonstrates the ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relations with surrounding staff, high school, CSU campus and Community College partners.
      • It is preferred, but not required, that the incumbent demonstrates bilingual skills.

      Required Qualifications:
      • Possesses a valid California Driver's License.
      • Undergraduate students must be registered/enrolled in a minimum of six (6) Fall/Spring units.
      • Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be registered in a minimum of four (4) Fall/Spring units. 
    • Salary Range


    • $16.00 per hour
