Salary Range: $16.50 - $140.00/Hourly (Budgeted Hiring Salary Range: $20/Hourly)

Work Schedule: Hours to be arranged; temporary appointment ends on/or before August 15, 2025; non-exempt classification.

Essential Functions: The Summer Transitional Programs Facilitator plays a crucial role in supporting incoming students as they transition to college life. This position involves guiding students through academic and personal development activities, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment and helping them build the skills necessary for success in their college journey.

Required Qualifications & Experience: A high school diploma or equivalent. A strong knowledge of Cal State LA or the CSU and demonstrate clear and verbal communication skills. The incumbent must have a demonstrated interest and/or ability to work in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the California State University. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or continued employment of current California State University employees who may apply for the position.
